Welcome to the Canoochee Forage Bull Development Center.  We think that you will find us to be one of the most unique bull development and marketing programs in the United States.

Our 2009 Sale will be held on Friday, October 25 in Glennville and will feature 70 forage tested bulls.

The 2008 Sale Catalog is now online and available for viewing by clicking on the cover of the 2008 sale catalog to the left. Something new for this year, the bulls are listed in the sale catalog in sale order. The first bull listed in the sale catalog will be the first bull in the ring on sale day. The second bull listed will be the second bull in the ring, etc. etc. The heifers will sell immediately after the bulls are done selling. Our Mission

It is our goal to become the leading source of forage tested and developed bulls in the United States. With the high price of corn in today's market, it becomes increasingly important to utilize cattle that have been bred and developed to be more efficient at using forages rather than grain in the production of beef.

Company Profile

The Canoochee Forage Bull Development Program is made up of 24 individual breeders of Simmental, Black Angus and SimAngus composite cattle. Since 2001 we have held an annual sale of forage tested and developed service age bulls.

All group members are members of the Georgia Cattlemen's Association and either the American Simmental or American Angus Breed Associations.

Past customers love the fact that our bulls are fully developed and ready to step off the trailer and breed lots of cows. We provide ample data on each and every bull, so that selecting the right bull for your program is a snap.

The members of our group are some of the top seedstock producers in the state of Georgia and the United States. Among our group members are the winners of "Seedstock Producers Of The Year" from the State of Georgia, two out of the past four years. Most of our group members also test bulls from their herds in the University of Georgia's respected Tifton Bull Evaluation and several have topped that test as well.
